Talking to PrintWeek India and WhatPackaging? Sangeet Kumar Gupta, director, Finsys Infotech, said, “The corrugation industry is on a growth path. And Finsys has succeeded in being a part of this growth.”

Finsys is a software partner to hundred plants of corrugation packaging, folded carton packaging and flexible packaging in India and abroad.

The Finsys corrugation package is running at TGI Packaging, Worth Peripherals, Meghdoot, Khetan Corrupack, Miracle, Orchid, Mayura and so on.

Gupta updated PrintWeek India and WhatPackaging? that Finsys has implemented a “barcode based raw material issue in over 46 companies, till now.”

Gupta said, “These companies have now implemented ‘near perfect’ FIFO based material issue. This means companies have been successful assuring the perfect traceability of each batch of production.” According to Gupta, this can help a company in managing the business in a well-organised way.

The barcodes of on raw materials mean the tags are printed automatically at the stage of material receipt. For this purpose, scanners are used for issue of raw material from stores to the production floor, and then, return of material from production floor to stores.

According to Gupta, this facilitates batch-wise stock traceability and FIFO / FEFO.

Finsys states, this is applicable for all industries including manufacturers of steel auto components, plastic moulded components, rubber moulded/extruded components, corrugation, laminate flexible packaging, artificial leather, and the pharma segment.
