The company was established in 1986 by Ashok Gupta with the late Sunder Lal Gupta. “It’s the feeling of pride for me to be the next generation in the company today,” Ankit Gupta, managing partner at Sunder Printing Press, said.

He added that the company keeps upgrading across all parameters including its production team of 10 well-trained staff, a fully-equipped post-production division, and a full-fledged press section which has just upgraded with the addition of the Ricoh Pro C7200x.

Gupta said, “Over the years, we have been into the printing and production of varieties of premium commercial products, such as special labels, tags, business cards, brochures, books, magazines, pamphlets, etc. For the digital printing of these products, we were in pursuit of an additional advanced digital colour printing production press. When we found Rioch Pro C7200x at Monotech Systems, it turned out to be the exact machine we were looking for. Its advanced features and versatility fulfil all our requirements.”

He added, “In fact, there are three things about the Ricoh Pro C7200x which tick all our boxes. The three things are quality, speed and productivity. When we say quality which this Ricoh digital press can deliver, all textures in graphic prints are crisp, flawless and unmatched by any usual four-colour press. Before the Ricoh press, we were using another digital colour production press that failed to deliver the print quality and colour gamut we required.”

Sunder Printing Press is engaged in printing special labels and such products with additional lustre and look. For this, the Ricoh Pro C7200x has its added advancement with its fifth toner station, which is specially designed to deliver vivid colours as well as neon, metallic, clear and invisible red toner for high-impact messaging or blending them with usual CMYK.

“We require added texture and a broader colour spectrum for printing special labels. However, we are confident in utilising the Ricoh Pro C7200x as it possesses the capability to deliver excellent results in this regard,” Gupta said.

He said the Ricoh Pro C7200x ultimately helps them discover a new potential to add new glow and look to labels. “When we talk about special labels we produce, it includes the ones for wine bottles and cosmetics products for which the Ricoh Pro C7200x has turned out to be the right and capable machine for premium quality prints,” he said.
