Messe Frankfurt's Media Expo Mumbai 2015 commences

The three-day long 36th edition of Media Expo opened its doors to visitors with an opening ceremony which in included the traditional lighting of the lamp at Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai today.

Mahesh Soni, country manager - Designjet, HP India, Venkat Adiraju, country manager - India, Roland DG, Brett Newman, sales director, Roland DG, Deborsti Paul Choudhary, business head, Apsom Infotex, Gulshan Kumar Alwdi, director, Colorjet India, Yasunobu Nishiyama, managing director, Fujifilm India and Raj Manek, executive director and board member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holding were all present during the inauguration ceremony. 
 


The show has 94 exhibitors across verticals like signage, point of purchase (POP), advertising, printing, retail and shop displays, and visual merchandising. This is the first Media Expo in Mumbai since Messe Frankfurt acquired Media Expo from New Delhi-based Media Exposition & Events (MEX). 

Speaking at inauguration a visibly enthusiastic Raj Manek said, "We feel the industry is primed for future growth, and we are excited about the opportunity to help Indian companies gain access to our global network of stakeholders, and assist our existing global partners to do business in India,” 

Marking their presence are companies like Abhikruti, Ace Infotech, Arrow Digital, Epson India, Fujifilm, Macart, Negi Enterprise, Roland and TechNova, JN Arora, Roland-Apson Infotech, Siare Technologies, and HP India among others 

Media Expo is organised in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata annually.
