19 Indian exhibitors at Sharjah show

IPAMA (Indian Printing Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association), the organisers of PrintPack Arabia 2014 have confirmed 19 Indian exhibitors till date. This takes the tally to approximately 70 plus exhibitors worldwide. The show will be held at Expo Centre, Sharjah from 7-10 April 2014.

19 Indian exhibitors to confirm their presence at the show include: Uflex Limited, Pressline India, APL Machinery, Pratham Technologies, Alliance Printech, Electro Mec, Acme Machinery, Easeprint Solutions.com, HY-TEK Print Mac, Sun Electro Gravures.

PrintPack is notably the third largest show in the world as per the recent finding by NPES (National Printing Equipment Association) and PrintPack Arabia 2014 is the first of its kind exhibition by IPAMA to be held outside India. 

General Secretary, IPAMA CP Paul informed that it was for the first time in the history of IPAMA that they had done any overseas business tie up. "We are working to provide opportunities for our members and promoting Brand India and exploring possibilities of entering into joint ventures and business collaborations, etc with UAE Countries" said he.

The exhibition is aimed at showcasing the emerging opportunities and technologies, and will aim to be a comprehensive sourcing platform for commercial and package printing in the region. The event targets to attract printers, industry professionals, buyers and design agencies. Printweek India will act as a media partner for the PrintPack Arabia 2014. 

The agreement for the PrintPack Arabia 2014 was signed in the presence of Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, director general, Expo Centre Sharjah; K S Khurana, president of IPAMA and C P Paul, general secretary of IPAMA in 2013.

“We are happy to associate with Expo Centre Sharjah as co-organiser for Print Pack Arabia. IPAMA is dedicated to disseminating information on the state of the technology, market perspectives and various developments taking place around the world, besides holding PrintPack India,” said K S Khurana. “Through Print Pack Arabia, we will be able to replicate the success achieved in India and share our decades of experience and expertise.” 

Apart from this, IPAMA has collaborated with Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to hold 10 editions of PrintPack Arabia till 2032.
