In addition to printing, the shop offers pre-press as well as post-press jobs like scanning, hard binding, lamination, etc, which in turn makes it a one-stop corner for complete printing and post-printing solutions for customers from the corporate sector, different businesses and all walks of life.

Manoj Kumar Singhal, proprietor of Shyam Electrostat, said, “We don’t sit idle when it comes to upgrading our machine portfolio. It helps us meet the changing demands for innovative graphic prints or finished products in the market. The recent investment is strategic because this Canon digital colour production system can cater to high-end graphics in vivid colours which other presses in its class cannot.”

Shyam Electrostat currently runs 20 Canon machines of different models and configurations, including the newly arrived iPR V900. Of them, 15 machines are monochrome digital presses and 4 are Océ Plotwave and ImagePrograf plotters for large-format poster and promotional signage graphics.

“Such heterogeneity of machines and technologies in our facility has made us a one-stop corner for complete graphic prints and solutions we cater as per our clients’ sheer demands and requirements,” Singhal said.

On choosing the new iPR V900, Singhal said the compact Canon digital press is pushing the bar of quality printing to a new level. “Technically, its features and capabilities are magnificent,” he said. The iPR V900 can print at the speed up to 90 A4-ppm compatibly on varieties of lightweight and heavyweight media, ranging from 52- to 350-gsm for producing graphic prints in resolution of 2,400x2,400-dpi.
