The event was further marked by the presence of the company’s owner, Lars Engel, highlighting the strategic importance of India within the global BHS network.

With a heritage of over 300+ years, BHS Corrugated has established itself as a global leader in corrugating technology, known for engineering precision, innovation, and reliability. From its roots in Germany to its presence across global markets, the company has played a key role in shaping the evolution of the packaging industry.

“India has become an important part of this journey. Today, more than 25 BHS corrugators are operating across the country, supporting leading packaging manufacturers with high productivity, consistent board quality, and dependable performance,” Bijendra Sharma, managing director, BHS Corrugated India, said.

At the heart of the new campus is the corrugating rolls manufacturing plant, dedicated to producing high-precision corrugating rollers that meet global BHS standards. Corrugating rolls play a critical role in determining flute profiles, board strength, and machine performance.
