Presidents of printers’ associations honoured

To recognise the hard work of people involved with various printers’ associations in India, the Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) decided to felicitate them. Presidents of various printers’ associations were nominated for the Presidential Print awards by the OPA. The award highlights the work of the association office-bearers towards the growth and development of the printing and packaging industry.

The awards were presented by Bandaru Dattatreya, the Governor of Haryana

The nominees were recently facilitated at an international conference on printed technology and smart packaging. It was hosted by OPA in association with the Government of India and Ministry of MSME at the DCR University of Science & Technology, Murthal, Haryana. The awards were presented to the nominees by Bandaru Dattatreya, the Governor of Haryana. 

Those who received the Presidential Print Awards for their outstanding leadership in promoting the printing Industry in the region and India included P Chander, president, All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP); Balwinder Singh, president, Master Printers’ Association, Ambala; Harbhajan Singh Grover, president, Offset Printers’ Association, Amritsar; Arun Agrawal, president, Greater Delhi Master Printers’ Association; S Surjit Singh, president, All Manipur Press Association, Imphal; Vinod Kumar Sharma, president, Rajasthan Offset Printers’ Association, Jaipur; Sudesh Kumar Gupta, president, J&K Offset Printers’ Association, Jammu; Sanjay Verma, president, Jammu Printers’ Association; Tarun Aneja, president, Noida Offset Printers’ Association; Gurmeet Singh, president, Patiala Offset Printers’ Association; Rajinder Kumar Gupta, president, Printers & Packers Association, Phagwara; Raveendra Joshi, president, Poona Press Owners Association; Ranu Bisht, president, Dev Bhoomi Printers’ and Publishers’ Association, Uttarakhand and Anoop Aggarwal, president, Yamuna Nagar Offset Printer Association.

"Networking is the key to success in modern times. For better and effective networking, associations are created, but to lead an association is a gigantic task. It is not easy to manage, especially in the post-Covid period. Considering it as an abandoned duty, OPA came forward to recognise the voluntary services of these presidents of different printers’ associations," Parveen Aggarwal, president, OPA, said.
