Nageen Print Pack, a division of the 40-year-old publishing group Nageen Prakashan, is a fast-growing printing and packaging service provider. The company boasts of a state-of-the-art infrastructure of 1,50,000-sqft in an area with a line of pre-press, press and post-press equipment.

“We provide printing and packaging services using sheetfed, automated binding, fully automated die-cutting and folding machines. New in our machine portfolio is the Pixeljet Ultron+ UV hybrid printer, which will boost our capability of printing on rigid packaging materials,” Vatsal Jain, director, Nageen Print Pack, said.

He added, “We are a publishing company with our printing activities revolve around books, diaries, magazines and other commercial items, such as pamphlets, brochures, calendars, leaflets, etc. Then in the last two years, we expanded into the packaging domain, which is now gaining ground with our latest update of machine portfolio with a highly advanced and versatile Pixeljet Ultron+ UV hybrid printer for printing on rigid materials. We already have a line of Bobst and Presto post-press machines in our machine portfolio.”

Nageen Print Pack manufactures mono-cartons, corrugated boxes, rigid boxes, promotional display stands as well as expo stall display systems.

“Choosing the Ultron+ UV hybrid printer was the right decision, as this machine is perfect for our purpose of churning on a range of unconventional rigid packaging and display graphic media,” Jain added.

When it comes to rigid media compatibility, Ultron+ can print practically on any rigid and roll-to-roll material. The range includes corrugated boards, plastics, acrylic, glass, foam board, exhibition panels, wood, aluminium, MDF, PS materials, etc. “Such flexible compatibility of the machine with any given material and its capability to deliver exceptional print quality helps us find a new impetus in our packaging printing activity,” Jain said.

The Pixeljet Ultron+ features Ricoh industrial-grade printheads (7 to 35-pL), which enable sharp prints produced by combining white ink and six colours. The high-density colour and high-speed printing function of the machine make print outputs brighter, more vivid, and more intense in resolution up to 2,400-dpi at the maximum speed of 45-sqm/hr. The printer has a flatbed printing area of 3,300x1,800-mm and 3,200-mm in roll-to-roll printing. It can take materials up to 100-mm thick.

Nageen Print Pack has a huge clientele comprising brands from the sectors, such as FMCG, beauty care, pharmaceutical, etc. “Kit-Kat, Heinz, Glow & Lovely, Shahnaz Husain Group, Yardley, LabFlu, Troxone, to name a few, are some of our valued customers. We have done diverse printing and packaging applications as well as promotional display racks for these brands,” Jain said.
