The Japan manufactured printer is the A0 sized LED-based multi-functional printer and has the functions of printing, scanning and photo copy. It offers a comprehensive solution for wide-format printing and the help to improve the quality and performance of print.

“We are introducing KIP products for the first time at PrintExpo and we are happy that Dina Color Labs have reposed faith in us and have immediately picked up the first machine,” said S R Vasudevan, region sales manager of Konica Minolta.

Dina Digital Prints (a unit of Dina Color Labs) bought the machine which was also on display for the first time at the exhibition.

Apart from a host of Konica Minolta presses (bizHub 1085, 71HC, Accurio Press C2060, PRO 1100) on display, the stall also featured a MGI JetVarnish 3DS sample gallery from Dina Color Lab who have three of the digital enhancement equipment.

“We are very satisfied with our association with Konica Minolta. We will continue to invest in technology from them including another JetVarnish 3DS in the near future, apart from mid production presses to add to our existing fleet,” said M Dinakaran, managing director of Dina group of companies.

Talking about KM’s business in South India and the effects of GST, Vasudevan said, “There has been no impact on our business, in fact we have had the maximum sale post GST by any supplier. Since January 2017 we have notched more than 30 installations and hope to do better in the remainder of the year.”
