Bengaluru-based Grafitek has invested in a Canon ImagePress V700 from Canon India.

Relatively new in digital printing business, Grafitek has been in the market over the last seven years. “Though we are new in the market, our works and outputs are widely appreciated and acknowledged by our customers,” said Iftekar of Grafitek.

He added that the company’s current clientele consists of some prominent brands, businesses, and host of individuals from different walks of life and professions.

According to Iftekar, the main mission of Grafitek is to upgrade the company’s production facility, which is already equipped with lines of presses and post-press equipment, with the timely additions of ultramodern machines.

“We often opt for high-end and highly-capable machines like the newly bought iPR V700 because we believe in helping our customers stand out amid their competitors with quality graphics and end-products we provide them.”

All new iPR V700 digital colour production press at Grafitek is compact in terms of its footprint, but it boasts an outsized productivity. “Various features, technical advancements, and overall capabilities of this Canon digital press meet every bit of our requirements in production of stunning digital graphics. It totally redefines quality and consistency in our short-run jobs and POD (print on demand) service,” Iftekar said.

Operating at the speed of 70 A4-ppm, iPR V700 is a highly capable production machine with high productivity and proficient media versatility. It prints on a broad range of lightweight and heavyweight stocks starting from 52-gsm up to 350-gsm, delivering graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2,400x2,400-dpi. Varieties of media compatible with the press include envelopes, covers, synthetics, and long sheets of 1,300-mm in length.

Iftekar states that it’s pretty much sure that the iPR V700 is going to change the game of digital printing at Grafitek. He added, “We are just at a threshold, testing the machine, barely producing only 8,000 sheets or so in a month. We look forward to exploiting the machine to the fullest.”

Currently, Grafitek’s product line primarily consists of business cards, envelopes, letterhead pads, catalogues, brochures, bill books, fliers, books, posters, among others.
