Dheeraj Goel, managing partner, Goel Printers, said, “We used to sell colourful and designer papers; gift wrapping papers; abri; gift slips; project sheets for kids and other promotional and gifting material. We used to outsource printing. On-time delivery became a major issue for us from our printing partners and one fine day, we decided to go for our own printing facility.”

The company started with pre-owned machines in 2015-16. Goel said, things went well but maintenance of those machines was painful. “Thus, we decided to go for a brand-new machine. Our printing partners used to print our jobs on Komori presses. We were impressed with the printing quality. So, we also opted for a Komori press,” he added.

The machine was installed in 2021. Goel said the company is happy with the machine and the after-sales service.

The company also has a locally-made rotogravure printing press.

The company has now launched its own stationery brand – Peace. It prints stationery and gifting material under the brand and supplies pan-India. “We print paper bags, colourful and designer paper, gift wrapping papers, name slips, abri, gift slip, project sheets for kids and other material,” Goel said.

The business was started by two brothers – Neeraj and Dheeraj Goel as a shop in Chawri Baazar in 1990. The shop and business development are managed by elder brother Neeraj. Dheeraj is responsible for production.

The company prints 140,000 sheets of 20x30-inches in a 16-hour shift with a team of 55 people in a 500-sqm area.
