Bengaluru-based Fulcrum Digital Prints recently invested in two Ricoh kit — Ricoh Pro 8400S and Ricoh Pro C7500 digital production presses, supplied and installed by Monotech Systems.
Established barely a few months back, Fulcrum Digital Prints is a brainchild of Binny Pappachan, who has had more than 20 years of rich experience in diverse marketing verticals such as brand management, corporate and marketing communication, product management, and trade marketing and pricing, working in a handful of FMCG companies, including Unilever, Colgate Palmolive and telecom giants like Tata and Airtel. A bona fide team leader with insightful analytical skills, he is at the helm of Fulcrum Digital Prints to move ahead progressively with strategic steps like the recent investments in the Ricoh Pro 8400S and Ricoh Pro C7500.
Fulcrum Digital Prints is a sister concern of Creative Dimensions. “Since its establishment in 2016, Creative Dimensions has been exclusively into packaging printing and conversion, working predominantly for big brands in the liquor segment. On the other side, Fulcrum Digital Prints serves as a print service provider for jobbers and print shops in B2B business model,” said Binny Pappachan of Fulcrum Digital Prints, adding that they currently work for clients based only in and around Bengaluru, but are looking for expanding its footprints in new regions like Kerala.
“We are proud of being India’s first owner of Ricoh Pro 8400S. We choose this highly advanced monochrome digital production press for its superb features and capabilities like perfect registration and compatibility with coated and uncoated media up to 350-gsm to print in duplex (front-back) mode,” Pappachan said, adding, “Likewise, Ricoh Pro C7500 is an ideal digital colour production workhorse defined by its advancements in speed, media versatility, and quality print outputs.”
Built compact and robust, the Ricoh Pro C7500 is designed to operate at the adjustable speed of 95-ppm. “In addition to productivity and print quality, this digital press handles wide varieties of media from 40-gsm to 470-gsm, which eventually enables us to undertake new graphic applications,” Pappachan said. “When it comes to print quality, Ricoh Pro C7500 delivers graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2,400x4,800-dpi.”
“We are now profoundly producing outstanding graphic prints on our two new Ricoh machines. We feel grateful to be partnered with Monotech Systems for the machines and their all-time supportive team who knows how and what to sell to meet customers’ needs. We look forward to getting more from them, perhaps a bigger digital press, and their indigenously manufactured PixelGlow digital UV print embellishment system soon,” Pappachan said.
