Fire breaks out at Suchi Paper Mills

A major fire broke out at Suchi Paper Mills located at Bisrakh Road Industrial Area, Chapraula, near Greater Noida in UP on 26 April. The incident was reported around 10 am.

According to officials, 13 fire tenders were rushed to the site, and the blaze was restricted to one portion of the building. Still, at least 50% of the factory was gutted in the fire.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. Also, the cause of the fire and the damage caused by it are yet to be ascertained.

According to new reports, the fire started at 9.30 am in a portion of the building, with the fire department receiving information about the incident within 30 minutes. By the time help arrived, the fire had already spread to the entire building. It took around two-and-a-half hours to bring the fire under control.

Established in 2003, Suchi Paper Mills manufactures semi-kraft paper, royal gold kraft paper and absorbent kraft paper.

According to the company website, it had a well-established manufacturing unit installed with all the latest machines and tools.

Suchi Paper Mills is a public limited company and employs more than 70 people. Rajendra Kumar Aggarwal is the chairman.
