Gourav Roy, managing director, FIG, said, “We approached the Indian market cautiously, but the overwhelming support and feedback we received have been fantastic. Thanks to the exceptional quality and performance of Rhyguan products, along with the relentless efforts of our team, we successfully installed over 50 units in the Indian market.”

He added, “It’s gratifying to see the industry’s increased focus on post-production. We are immensely grateful to the Indian label fraternity for their unwavering support.”

Gandhinagar -based Amba Multiprint has invested in a couple of Rhyguan finishing machines — the Rhyguan Smart 330 and 450 and the Rhyguan Top 450.

Ankit Mehta of Amba Multiprint said, “The machines are exactly what we were looking for. The Rhyguan Smart 450 and Rhyguan Top 450 slitter-rewinders are economical machines in European standard with unique features like high precision inspection systems. They are our perfect choice for rigorous rotary die-cutting and finishing. We are always in pursuit of such machines because we maintain a standard to meet the need of our valued clients, such as Marico, ITC Group, etc.”

Over the last 50 years, Ahmedabad-based MBR Flexibles has been the provider of cost-effective and sustainable packaging solutions. It has two production units located side by side — one is quite new, barely one year old, and designed for label printing and production.

“We are setting up a machine portfolio for this new unit with the installation of some standard printing and finishing tools and machines,” Sahil Chopra, director, MBR Flexibles, said. “Our recent installation of a Rhyguan Smart 330 slitter-rewinder in the unit is very much a part of the process. We are very thankful to FIG for its help.”

The company has also purchased a pre-owned Mark Andy 2200 press.

Deepan Samarth, CEO, Sai Paks, said, “One primary reason for us to choose Rhyguan Smart 450 slitter-rewinder is the machine’s cost-effectiveness. This finishing machine is economical compared to others in its class. The Rhyguan Smart 450 also has the required features which every standard slitter-rewinder must have, including 100% offline inspection system, optical camera, workflow, and final report editing. We are quite satisfied with these features.”

FIG’s relationship with Chennai-based Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging started when the company invested in a Mark Andy label press.

Arun Tenzing, director, Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging, said, “We are quite satisfied with the machine and the way FIG provides us with committed after-sales service. That’s why we went to them for the second purchase — a Rhyguan Smart 450 slitter rewinder. This finishing machine is indeed a smart system with advanced features like 100% offline inspection. So far, we are quite satisfied with this finishing machine and overall service and support we receive from the technical team of FIG whenever we need their help.”

Previously, the company had purchased the Rhyguan Plus 420, equipped with semi/full rotary die-cutting; hot foil stamping; silk screen printing; hologram registration and other features.
