Yash Vijaybhai Shrimanker of Pelican Rotoflex, said, “We have been receiving good response from the show. The visitors are fewer but focused so we can deploy our energy on them. We have closed a few deals and others are near to maturation. It was good to see that the global market is looking at Indian manufacturers.”

Pelican’s New Generation Solomark 6450, a state-of-the-art rotogravure printing press, is a high-speed press that produces high-standard print quality with various films, including sensitive films to produce sustainable packaging.

The press delivers outstanding performance even with commodity and speciality-sensitive sustainable films, thanks to features like semi-floatation drying with 3D and 2D hole technology and a high-efficiency ventilation module. This ensures fast drying and minimal residual solvent on the substrate.

Designed for the short, medium, and long run and with much ease in operation and changeover, the press offers multiple options in the pre-registration system and a shorter web path, resulting in minimal ink consumption and reduced wastage, and several features to make the lowest possible conversion cost as today’s profit margin is shrinking.

“We are delivering four rotogravure printing presses per month. Our main aim is to focus on human safety and reduce the cost of ownership of the machine,” Shrimanker said.
