DPA celebrates Independence Day

Amid holiday mood and political fervour, Delhi Printers' Association (DPA) celebrated India's 77th Independence Day by hoisting the National flag on the terrace of its office on 15 August 2023. The office and the venue were decorated with colourful balloons, flags and flowers.

DPA president Prakash Dass and honoury general secretary Puneet Talwar hoisted the flag.

On behalf of former presidents, Arun Berry addressed the participants by stressing the importance of freedom from the mindset of slavery of the colonial era. For the upliftment of the printing industry, he exhorted everybody to endeavour to achieve boundless success in every field. 

Berry emphasised the vital role the Ministry of MSME plays in national development. He suggested making use of the economic benefits which various schemes of the ministry provide to needy industries, including printing.

Mukesh Kaushik hailed the efforts of the office bearers, especially the president Prakash Dass, for organising the event so meticulously and successfully. He also appreciated the office staff for their hard work.

Dass hailed the sacrifices made by thousands of freedom fighters and remembered the loss of innumerable lives by the defence personnel for the achievement of India’s freedom. Dass also thanked his colleagues and well-wishers for attending the function.
