Delhi Printers’ Association elects office bearers

Prakash Dass of Dass Printers was elected president of the Delhi Printers’ Association for the year 2023-2024 during its annual general meeting held on 15 April 2023. At the same event, Puneet Talwar of Impact was elected as honourary general secretary and Sandeep Aggarwal of Vishnu Offset Printers was elected as treasurer.

Prakash Dass graduated from Delhi University in 1980. Even during his student days, he assisted his elder brothers in their printing press to learn the ins and outs of printing, but his dedication and creativity soon earned him a bright name in the field. 

Dass joined Delhi Printers’ Association as an ordinary member in 1983, but realising his resolve to fulfil his aspirations to serve the industry, he was inducted into the executive committee of the association in 2007. Dass was elevated as joint secretary for 2015-16 and 2016-17 terms and subsequently as vice-president for three years. The year 2021-2022 saw him as treasurer while the association benefited from his services as a vibrant general secretary.

Puneet Talwar started his journey from a small screen printing unit but having seen it all, he is now counted as a successful entrepreneur. He joined Delhi Printers' Association as an ordinary member in 1993. By sharing important responsibilities with his seniors and fellow teams in the holding of printer-friendly events of DPA from time to time, he achieved new heights and got rewarded by being elected unopposed on reputed posts of joint secretary and vice-president of the association for repeated terms. The previous term 2022-2023 saw him serve DPA as its treasurer. 

After completing his diploma in business studies from Sydney (Australia), Sandeep Aggarwal joined his family business in 2000. He is the third-generation member of a family which has been closely associated with printing and allied sectors. 

Aggarwal entered Delhi Printers’ Association as a member of its executive committee for the 2011-2012 term. His active participation in association activities led him to serve DPA as a joint secretary twice as well as vice-president also twice, before being elevated as its treasurer for the current year 2023-2024.
