Bengaluru-based BOP Digi Express has recently invested a Canon ImagePress V1350, a game-changing digital colour production press with distinguished speed, versatility, and precision, from Canon India.
“We have chosen the new Canon ImagePress V1350 for three major reasons. First, its versatility in handling media of varied grammages; second, its speed; and third is the amiable and dedicated after-sales service we unconditionally receive from the team Canon India,” Santosh G, manager, BOP Digi Express, said.
He added, “Our first tryst with Canon began in 2011 with an iPR C7010VP, followed by an iPR C10000VP seven years ago. We today have the iPR V1350 high-volume press.”
According to Santosh, BOP Digi Express is designated as an exclusive digital printing unit while the company’s unit for offset printing is run separately with an array of high-end presses from Heidelberg and Komori, along with a line of pre-press and post-press equipment from Kodak, Itoh, and Nagai.
“We have been engaging in both offset and digital printing for catering end-products like brochures, calendars, annual reports, notebook covers, office stationeries, carry bags, marketing collaterals, among many others,” Santosh said.
He continued, “With the new iPR V1350, which we installed just a fortnight ago, we are now pushing the bar of short-run or POD jobs of packaging graphics and labels to a whole new level of print quality and productivity.”
He added that the Canon is the right machine for the jobs which the company produces for quality-conscious clients from the key sectors like FMCG, auto, healthcare, hospitality, banking, education, etc., who at the same time demand for on-time delivery of their every single end-product on the strictest deadlines.
Robustly designed, iPR V1350 is ideally a digital workhorse capable to gallop at the speed of 135 A4-ppm. Featured with multiple suction paper feeding trays, registration technology, straight paper travel path, and all new POD-SURF (surface rapid fusing), the Canon digital production press offers quick media switching on the broadest mixed materials ranging from 60- up to 500-gsm to deliver graphic prints in 2,400x2,400-dpi. At the core of the machine is the advanced E9000 Fiery server (FS500 Platform) with Hyper-RIP (8 RIP processing simultaneously) to process heavy print files faster.
