The 1000 to be launched by PWI
PrintWeek India (PWI) will launch a special publication called The 1000. It will be a definitive guide, featuring top 1000 print companies and celebrating the best of print in India.

There will be 500 more companies than in its inaugural year in 2010 when PrintWeek India produced The 500. The selection of the 1000 firms will be based on: size of operation, the technology deployed, print applications and the growth in the past few years.
"The 1000 will reveal print firms’ characteristics like adoption of technology, alertness to market trends and ability to cater to the print buyer, that set them apart" said Suresh Ramakrishnan, publishing director, Haymarket Media India.
The 1000 will be released in December 2011 and is powered by Xerox India.
