PrintWeek Awards 2023: Print Vision wins Packaging Converter of the Year (Rigid Box) (Joint Winner)

Print Vision is yet another first-time winner of the PrintWeek Awards. The Ahmedabad-based commercial and packaging specialist produced gift boxes, and packaged invitations using the rigid medium, customising them to the preferences of its customers – from printing to adding enhancement like laser cutting and foiling. The boxes were hand-fabricated.

The Harmony Meadows Diwali gift box was a turnkey project done by Print Vision, right from concept, design, and production to the inside material. The description from Print Vision for the Pyramid Invite – Ace 2002 for Egypt said, the brief was to create an invite that would reflect the soul of Egypt. “It was the most challenging job done last year. MetPET printing.

MDF laser cutting and manual fabrication were just some challenges.” The Vogue Iscon box with the brochure is a simple yet elegant box. The French door box with a beautiful golden V on the top brings a luxurious feel, and opens to an all-black interior with satin black cloth. The fourth sample, Perfect 10 Ace 2023, was produced using an intricate manufacturing process including laser cutting of acrylic, foiling, lamination of 13 different die-cuts and manual fabrication.

The printing was done using the Mitsubishi Diamond 3000 four-colour press.

One of the judges remarked, “The design secures the product inside the box and enhances customer unboxing experience. That’s the beauty of rigid boxes if done well.”
