Packaging design can make or break a product. Three years after New Delhi’s Maatti Design conceptualised a carton for Undercolors, the product and design continues to go from strength to strength, raking Rs 100-crore for the company in the process. This is our top story for the February issue of WhatPackaging?.

This month saw Parksons Packaging take a huge step in their pan India quest with the inauguration of its sprawling 10-acre plant in the Sri City industrial area, Andhra Pradesh. In the next ten years, the company aims to achieve a turnover of Rs 5,000 crores.

Mintel’s Ranjana Sundaresan observes how combo packs that include chips along with a dip are slowly starting to emerge in the Indian snacks market. Read about the new trend.

All this and lot more in the February issue of WhatPackaging?. Happy reading!
