When the machine was launched at Drupa 2008, it was known as Metijet, TechNova’s metal inkjet CTP solution. It was then targeted for the newspaper printing industry. Since then TechNova has introduced developments on all the cricital components of the solution – RIP, imaging device, plates and post-imaging devices.

Star Product: SmartJet Inkjet CtP Solution
This is the current version, SmartJet Inkjet CtP Solution was launched at IFRA 2013 for the newspaper segment and is being introduced at Pamex 2013 for the book printing and mid-range commercial printing segments. TechNova says, SmartJet is a fully digital workflow and near CtP quality at fraction of the cost of conventional thermal, violet or UV CTP solutions. Depending on the size and configuration, the systems is available at a cost starting from Rs 7-lakhs.
