UTILITY
The FL5 gives a true single-pass carton production of highly embellished cartons. It starts with a reel of board and produces a finished and stripped die-cut carton with foiling, cast and cure, embossing, laminating, gravure or screen printing all in a single pass.

The FL5 has been built on Edale’s extensive experience of multiple substrate handling. It can run substrates from 12-700 microns without any mechanical changes to the press due to its full servodriven design and advanced tension control.

The FL3 is a productive, cost-efficient, quality label and packing press. It has been designed with the operator in mind to make life easier while producing high quality print with efficiency and minimal waste. It comes with seven motors on each print station as standard, and the enhanced HMI capabilities make the FL3 highly efficient and reliable. The FL3 has a web width of 430-mm and the largest standard substrate range of any press on the market.

As part of the FL range, it comes with UniPrint, which ensures quality print whatever the repeat size. The AiiR system gives autonomous register and motorisation of all print adjustments giving quick and repeatable set-up on production with minimal operator input via the intuitive HMI control panel.
