Noida's Narain Printers adds a five-colour press to its print armoury

Noida-based Narain Printers has installed a pre-owned five-colour Heidelberg press and are planning expansion of its facility, its third, in and around Noida as well as buying a CTP and single-colour printing press.

"With new orders for exports coming our way, we are moving into newer opportunities and we hope to meet the challenge with the new addition of the five-colour Heidelberg press to our armoury of presses," said Indra Narayan Mittal, the managing director of Narain.

The company which specialises in book and calendar printing with the capability of producing 50,000 books per day will also undertake commercial and packaging jobs.

Besides the Heidelberg, the company is equipped with multi-colour presses from Polygraph, KK Printing and NBG, a complete set up for platemaking from Memory and a fully equipped post-press unit.

Narain serves both government and private companies – Saraswati House, Cordova Publishing, Oxford and Viva are amongst them.

The Rs 7-crore family-run business was established in 1993 and has an employee strength of 100 persons.
