Vivek Mishra, director at Vipul Prints, said: "We wanted to set our own standards for colour density. With the help of the Easytrax we can standardise the target value and there is consistency in the print production. At the end of the day, what really matters is the customer's satisfaction and we are able to achieve that."

Vipul Prints has also installed a four-up violet CTP from Highwater.

Commenting on the installation of  the CTP, Mishra said: "the Nagpur print market has not seen the kind of growth which we had expected. There is a fierce competition. The print buyers today, demand the same quality at a price which they got 10 years ago. It is the technology which can give us the better returns for our investment."

The Easytrax was supplied and installed by Mumbai-based Advanced Graphic Systems, which manages X-Rite products in India. The Highwater CTP was installed by Monotech.

Established in 1990, Vipul Prints houses a four-colour Adast 747 and a five-colour KBA Polyproforma. Recently it has invested in a brand new Perfecta 115 cutting machine, a Morgana UV coater with automatic feeder and automatic creasing machine which is scheduled to arrive by next month. The future plans include an investment in a sheetfed press with coater.
