APL Digi UV

The Digi UV is specially designed and manufactured to enhance the print production from every digital printing press which includes HP, Kodak, Canon, Ricoh, Xerox, and Konica Minolta. Digi UV which is available in two sizes, 18 inches and 24 inches can produce 2,000 sheets per hour.

Rajiv Kapoor, chief executive officer at APL Machinery says, “Digi UV is an ideal machine for every digital printing facility for UV coating and curing. The machine will play a very important role to enhance photo albums production. It can also be used by offset printers for full coating UV jobs with add-on of CSF. The USP of the machine is its feature that allows spot UV jobs and design the coating in two dimension (2D) and 3D.”

The Faridabad-based machine manufacturing and exporting company produces flat screen printing, round screen printing, manual pad printing, manual round printing, online and offline UV curing systems, UV control panels, UV curing lamps, manual full coating, fully automatic spot and full coating and curing system, manual stretching clamps, pneumatic stretching frame, drying racks, aluminium self-stretching frames and tubular frames, pre-stretched frames, T-shirt printing machines, manual vacuum tables, IR dryers and special purpose as well as screen washing machines.

Besides the new Digi UV, the company also demonstrated fully automatic UV coating and curing machine for full and spot, inter-deck UV for offset, gravure and flexography label presses and flat screen printing machines at Drupa 2012.

APL has also joined hands with undisclosed leading international brands to bring the latest technologies in its production.

At Drupa, APL’s focus will be on fully auto UV coating and curing machine, which is capable of doing full coating or spot coating at the speed of 10,000 sheets per hour. This machine is equipped with the chamber doctor blade and anti-static device plus an assortment of additional features.

Interdeck UV
Interdeck UV is the demand of the industry today and so APL showcased its Interdeck UV with latest German and USA technology. Interdeck UV technology can be installed on the existing press and make it UV enabled.

Beside all of these machines, APL displayed its already established flat screen printing machine which can do multiple applications such as printing on glass surface, wood, metal, paper substrates and other flat objects. This machine is also suitable for spot UV coating.

“Even though we have not officially launched Digi UV coating and curing machine, we have already got two orders from Colt Trading Sri Lankan-based machine dealer,” concluded Kapoor.
