Xaar crosses the 21-million mark printhead nozzle delivery in India

Xaar, manufacturer of printheads, celebrated its seventh year in India with an announcement that it has crossed the 21-million mark inkjet printhead nozzle delivery throughout the continent, confirming its commitment to the region and making it the printhead market leader in India.

At a special awards ceremony held in New Delhi, Xaar also recognised the expertise and service of its partners in India, who have been instrumental in the overriding success of its printheads.
 
In 2004, Xaar was the first printhead manufacturer to set up an operation in India and according to Abhishek Verma of Xaar India, is the only company today to provide direct in-country support to its partners. "The company’s latest printhead - the Xaar Proton - features Xaar’s latest chevron piezo actuator technology combined with the nozzle processing methods of Xaar 1001 printhead delivers ultimate performance," said Verma. "The Xaar Proton printhead was developed in close association with several of Xaar’s partners in India, and this has contributed significantly to its success."
 
Bob Bobertz, general manager of Xaar Asia Pacific, who was present during the special awards ceremony, gave away ten awards to : Macart Equipment; Apsom Infotex, Britomatics, AT Inks, Ess Dee Nutek, Siare Technologies, Monotech Systems and A Digital.
