At CorruPack 2026, the combined forces of Virdi Brothers Machinery and New Darshana Engineering Works highlighted the strength of family-led industrial expertise. With a legacy spanning over 33 years since their founding in 1993, the Mumbai-based group presented a one-roof philosophy. Now led by a second generation of engineers, the group showcased a portfolio that bridges the gap between traditional Indian craftsmanship and advanced international technology.
The exhibit featured a core corrugation unit designed for precision flute manufacturing—the critical internal layer that ensures product safety within packaging. Accompanying this was a heavy-duty sheet cutter, an essential tool for converting continuous paper rolls into sized corrugated boards.
Taranjit Singh Vvriddi, director, Virdi Brothers Machinery, emphasised that their strength lies in customisation; with a catalogue exceeding 40 different machine types, they provide configurations based on specific output rates, board sizes, and budget requirements.
Adaptability served as the primary unique selling point for the partnership. Virdi and New Darshana offer a tiered technology ladder, ranging from entry-level manual machines to sophisticated, fully automatic production lines. This “everything under one roof” strategy is backed by a specialised technical support team, ensuring that domestic manufacturers have access to both semi-automatic versatility and high-speed automation without needing to coordinate with multiple vendors.
