Trigon buys Brotech to enhance its label finishing

In a move to enhance the finishing capabilities of labels, Mumbai-based Trigon Digipack has opted for a Brotech CDF 420 digital finishing machine. With this, Trigon will be able to offer embellishments on labels, such as spot UV, varnish, drip-off effects, cold foil, die-cutting and IML.

The machine, designed to be modular to enable further expansion and modification, has been manufactured and supplied by Brotech Digital Graphics.

“The machine has all the features and more that we wanted,” Anil Namugade, director and founder of Trigon, said.

Over the years, Trigon has risen from grassroot level, from proofing and mockup making company to a pioneering digital print packaging solution company. Trigon caters to the top FMCG brand as well as more than 400 Indian startups. 

The company forayed into digital label conversion in 2015. In 2021, it became the first company in Asia to install the HP 25K, enhancing its capabilities. Trigon, with a team of 110 employees, operates from five operational locations in India, Dubai and Singapore. 

The sale of the equipment has been handled by Brotech’s exclusive agents, Weldon Celloplast. Established in 1982, Weldon provides total label manufacturing solutions with exclusive representation of leading international equipment brands as principals. 

Kanwardeep Sahni (KD), managing director of Weldon, said, “Trigon has carved a niche position for themselves in the digital label printing and converting segment. By adding the CDF Brotech, it will now be able to create a unique value proposition for its label business and offerings.”
