Priyanshu Agarwal with the BW@2500 V24: Every book that we manufacture is special for us

The Meerut-headquartered merchant has brought together papers and boards from its existing portfolio, along with the addition of some new product lines. With the six-clamp BW@2500 V24 Bindwel, Agarwal said the firm was geared up to meet the "distinct requirements" of publishers.

SK Offset is a reputed name for its print and binding for publications, especially educational books. Over the years, the firm has targeted Meerut-based publications. Its USP is long-run jobs and in the future it hopes to target short-run work.

Agarwal told PrintWeek, "We convert approximately 30 metric tons of paper in a day." He added, "And we make sure each and every book reaches its final destination within the time frame."

Housed in a 120,000 sq/ft factory, the ops are spread in multiple locations. With a 350-member team, the group has an annual turnover of Rs 50-crore. Other than educational books, SK Offset specialises in packaging and labels. Which is why it invested in a Gallus narrow-web flexo press.

Agarwal is pleased with the installation process of the BW@2500 V24. He said, "We are extremely delighted with the service support." The Bindwel, he said, is user-friendly and the binding department of SK Offset is completely satisfied with the perfect binder.

SK Offset has been a Bindwel customer for a decade and half. The BW@2500 V24 which is brand new and updated is the first V24 model in North India.
