ScreenTex show opens on 29 July at Pragati Maidan

The ScreenTex India 2022 expo will be hosted from 29 to 31 July 2022 at Hall No 11, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The exhibition, which will showcase screen, digital and textile technologies, is being organised by SJ Exposition and Screen Printers’ Association of India (SPAI).

The Indian screen printing industry can be said to have about 1,00000 to 125,000 printers of all hues and sizes. Jignesh Lapasiya, the organiser of the ScreenTex India shared with PrintWeek that “Given the demand and appetite for innovation and creativity by the end consumers, the screen printing industry has been continuously expanding at a healthy annual growth rate in excess of 15%.”

Lapasiya added, “Being an industry which is at the forefront of products and communication innovation in application — and technology is forever evolving, this is what ScreenTex India 2022 is all about. It intends to breach the gap by showcasing latest innovations in screen and textile / digital printing machinery screen and textile printing materials, sublimation printing from across the world.

Along with the expo, ScreenTex has also organised Print ki Pathsala on 30 July. The workshop will make the print delegates aware of newer applications in screen printing. The session topics are: new standards for textile transfer; printed electronics (next generation of screen printing applications) and flexible circuits. The presenters are: Bhavesh Shah of Ultranex Transfer Release Film; Shiv Prasad of Keetronics and Dr Mustafa Kapadia of Colors; and Virendra Sawant of Cutek Circuits.

On 31 July, there will be a panel discussion which will comprise the experts of the industry. The aim is to address issues related to screen printing on T-shirts, ceramic, glass, commercial printing, PCB printing, printed electronics, UV printing on packaging, etc.
