Pune’s Octopus Advertising installs EFI Vutek GS 3200

Established in 2011, Octopus Advertising is one of the leading manufacturers of conventional and modular signage, point of purchase (POP) material and displays, event branding, retro reflective signage, aluminium channel letters, totem, outdoor advertising, and large format and offset printing.

The EFI Vutek GS 3200 is a flatbed roll-to-roll UV printer in the super-wide format printing domain. It is said to deliver a combination of superior photorealistic quality and high productivity.

The machine can print on different direct-to-substrate materials and offers a range of applications from exhibition graphics, fine arts, photographic reproduction to POP displays for signage, banners, posters and commercial graphics.

The Vutek GS 3200 is capable of delivering up to 2,400-sqft/hr, enabling continuous board-to-board, board-to-sheet and roll-to-roll printing capabilities.  With eight-colour plus white, switchable to Fast-5, the machine can provide a dual resolution of 600dpi or 1,000 dpi for high quality graphics.

The machine’s three-layer and white-layer printing capability allows printing white in six variations, such as overprint, under-print, spot, under-spot, fill and over-spot. It also offers a dual-roll capability that enables printing up to two 60-inch rolls simultaneously. EFI’s portfolio of an integrated solution is said to increase productivity and provide versatility.
