H N Meeran: We are yet to utilise the machine to its full potential and will hope to do that in the coming months

Started in 2008 as Focus Color Lab under the leadership of H N Meeran, the company has diversified into photo lab consumables and servicing before eventually venturing into photo printing in the name of NM Printing.

“After adequate research we believe we chose the industry best press for its high-chroma vivid prints along with its wider colour gamut and multiple sizes (13x19, 13x30, 13x40 and 13x51) printing,” said Meeran, proprietor of NM Printing.

The company produces photo books, albums, large format portraits apart from mugs, T-shirts etc.

“We replaced our existing Konica C1060 engine with this machine, mainly for lower production cost, higher speed, greater life and the newly upgraded HC toner,” Meeran added.

Apart from the new press, the company also has a Noritsu 3202, an Epson large format press and a host of laminators, automatic window and paper cutting machines.

According to KM, the AccurioPress C83hc is a unique digital printing solution for the photo industry. Using the fourth generation of the company’s High Chroma toner, the machine enables printing businesses to customise and complete print jobs in either sRGB or CMYK format through its selectable print mode.

“At 30 photo prints per minute, we think we are yet to utilise the machine to its full potential and will hope to do that in the coming months,” concluded Meeran.
