Redington has announced the installation of the HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 5600 3D printing solution at Protofusion 3D, a rising player in India’s digital manufacturing landscape. This strategic partnership represents a step forward in enhancing agile and scalable production for key sectors, including automotive, aerospace, robotics, and high-performance consumer products.
By eliminating traditional constraints such as tooling and setup costs, the MJF 5600 empowers businesses to prototype, iterate, and scale production with unmatched speed and efficiency.
“With HP’s Multi Jet Fusion technology, we’re enabling businesses to accelerate their product development cycles and scale production confidently. This is a game-changer for industries looking for agility and quality in equal measure,” said Aakash Sangwan, founder and director, Protofusion 3D.
Ramesh KS, vice president – Digital Printing, Redington, said, “This partnership highlights Redington's commitment to strengthening advanced digital manufacturing capabilities for the automotive, manufacturing, and aerospace sectors, enabling clients to accelerate innovation, optimise their supply chains, and dramatically reduce time to market.”
Protofusion 3D now offers stereolithography (SLA), vacuum casting (VC), and MJF technologies at a single facility, allowing businesses access to various digital manufacturing processes for prototyping, product testing, and production. The facility also provides a paint shop, enabling companies to obtain finished components with reduced lead times.
