The stage is set for one of the most anticipated evenings in the Indian printing and packaging industry — the PrintWeek Awards 2025. The annual celebration, organised by Haymarket Media, will honour outstanding achievements across print, publishing, and packaging, bringing together leaders, innovators, and creative minds shaping the future of the industry.
Setting a new benchmark, the 2025 celebration saw participation from over 100 companies, 300+ entries, and more than a thousand samples, each a testament to India’s vibrant print and packaging talent.
This year's event, themed "Celebration," aims to honour the remarkable achievements and brightest minds within the print, publishing, and packaging industries and we are presenting the awards in a dynamic new format. Consider it our departure from printing on RGB to CMYK: the same clarity and sharpness, but in a richer, more vibrant format. PrintWeek is all set to bring a more engaging experience for all attendees.
Ashish Bhushan, the country head of Haymarket Media India said, "We are privileged to be hosting the PrintWeek Awards for the past 15 years. This year, based on feedback from our partners and supporters in the industry, we are tweaking the rules. " Bhushan added, "Under the new rules we'll tap the expertise and experience in the industry and have three knowledge modules for the benefit of the VIP delegates who attend the show."
The Awards Celebration will begin at 4PM IST with welcome address by Ashish Bhushan, followed by three thought-provoking knowledge sessions interspered with announcements and felicitations for 32 Awards in three categories — 10 Performance Awards, 19 Quality Awards, and three Special Industry Awards. A 31-member jury, comprising doyens from the printing, publishing, and packaging industry, evaluated the entries in an intensive process spread from 9 to 12 September. Day One spotlighted book printing, highlighting innovations in binding, lighter textbooks, and multi-coloured edge trims. Day Two focused on digital print, where judges praised how the technology now rivals gravure and litho, producing fine art, wedding albums, and creative short runs. Day Three centred on packaging and labels, underlining sustainability, premiumisation, and storytelling potential.
There are three knowledge sessions: Women Prowess in the Industry moderated by Vinita Bhatia, editor, Campaign India featuring women from the industry and winners of 2025 Women to Watch Awards; All About Books moderated by Ramu Ramanathan, editor, PrintWeek and WhatPackaging? magazines features a distinguished panel including Priya Singh of Hachette, Ajay Joshi of Penguin Random House, and Dr Amit Sharma of HarperCollins; The Brands Speak — Opportunities and Challenges moderated by Dr Prasad Balan Iyer, director, SIES School of Packaging featuring Chinmaya Dandekar of Godrej Consumer Products, Dr Geetal Mahajan of Kenvue, KV Sridhar of Nihilent, and Raju Kalgutkar of Piramal Consumer Healthcare Business, to discuss evolving consumer demands, sustainability imperatives, and the creative possibilities shaping the future of packaging.
This will be followed by the special unveiling of the Book of the Night by PrintWeek’s Company of the Year, wrapping up the evening in true print-style, along with a gala dinner and networking.
