The category provides a substantial platform for flexible packaging laminates printed through flexography and gravure printing technologies.

Noel D'cunha, managing editor of PrintWeek India, said, “We recognised the shift towards flexible packaging with significant market domination. Considering this developing space, last year, we arrived at a decision about including an Award exclusively for this segment. We were overwhelmed with how the category gained traction in such a short interval.”

Pune-based Parakh Agro was honoured as the Packaging Converter of the Year (Flexible) category during the 10th edition of the Awards.

The jury members, comprising of industry experts, looked for excellence in package printing as well as functional and barrier properties. They also took into consideration the use of multi-layer substrates, sustainability parameters and other production constraints.

Information about all the categories is available on the website.
