PrintWeek India 2025: Parakh Flexipacks wins Packaging Company of the Year - Flexible

Established in 2007, the Pune-based company has scaled to 18,000-tonnes per annum, serving sectors from FMCG and dairy to hygiene and apparel, while extending its export reach. In 2024–25 Parakh consolidated its position in flexible packaging by strengthening its portfolio in hygiene and food applications. Jobs such as Huggies Natural Soft XL 42 and Pinto Beans Haricots Pinto highlighted its emphasis on sustainability. The company deployed post-industrial recycling, material optimisation and machine-direction orientation (MDO) film technology to reduce virgin plastic use, improve barrier properties and enhance dimensional stability. Such practices aligned with corporate sustainability goals while meeting consumer demand for eco-friendly packaging.

A notable step during the year was the acquisition of a flexo printing presses, designed to handle both short and long runs with reduced waste. This addition supports the company’s ability to print high-end hygiene films and expand export capacity.
