Rajkot-based Skyline Printers bought a Veenine folder-gluer, while Roorkee-based Blize Printers booked a Vijaya 65 with lock bottom.

This is the second investment in the same kit for Skyline Printers. “This machine will help us manufacture boxes to cater automobile, pharma, food and other segments. We have bought the machine to increase our customer base and produce boxes fast. We are converting around 80 tonnes of paper and board per month,” Chetan Bhai Patel of Skyline Printers said.

Prashanth Kumar BR of Vijaya said, “We have upgraded our folder-gluer since the last edition of the exhibition. Now, the entire machine is manufactured through CNC without any manual intervention. Thus, our machines have become better both in look and performance.”

At the show, Vijaya displayed an upgraded version of Vijaya Veenine with online Braille embossing and quality assurance system from Italian manufacturer Zator. “We are the only Indian folder-gluer manufacturer to have developed Braille embossing,” Prashanth Kumar BR added.

Veenine can be run at the maximum speed of 300-m per minute. Optional features include third bottom track and top track in final folding unit, quality assurance system and Braille embossing.

Since its establishment of folder-gluer manufacturing, Vijaya has installed more than 300 lock bottom folder-gluers in India.
