“The aim of our participation in the exhibition is to meet as many customers as possible and highlight the values we can bring to their operation with our series of products, especially for the packaging segment,” said KN Ramesh, director, Print Generic Systems.

The six-year old company, which has operations in Bengaluru and Chennai, offers rigid box-making machines, lamination machines and windows patching machines apart from the UV system.

“We are five partners who all come with the same service background at Proteck and decided to form this company with the only objective of serving the industry better. We identified packaging as a sector which needs quality products and have driven our energy towards it,” said Ramesh.

“We had a pretty successful 2018 and overall sales number for the year stands at more than 25 installations with 15 rigid box machines, 12 UV systems, five lamination machines and two window patching respectively,” he added.

The company is also planning to introduce die punching machine and a special type folder gluer in 2019 which they believe will have a special appeal to the market.

Speaking about the exhibition, Ramesh said, “This is our third time at PrintPack and we have made it a point to part of every edition since our inception since we see this as the most significant event in India for the print and packaging industry,” said Ramesh.

“We are hoping to have a better 2019 with at least 15-20% increase in sales and with the introduction of new products we think the year would be busier and happier,” he concluded.
