PrintPack 2019: Monotech, Pressline showcase high speed inkjet web-integrated solution

TP Jain of Monotech Systems, said, “We announced the press in the last edition of the exhibition and two years later, the press is commercially available. Our product portfolio has completely changed. We were trying for multiple ideas and finally worked out on few. We displayed colour side of Jetsci in Labelexpo India and the mono side of the press is available here. We three (Monotech, Pressline and Welbound) provide reel of paper to finished products.”

The machine is fully configurable. It all depends on the need of the customer. “We are ready to provide our solutions for books, magazines, question paper answering sheets and all types of jobs. We can configure the machine as per requirement of the customer. In terms of quality, speed and reliability, we will compete with the best in the world,” Jain added.

Satish Bajwa of Pressline India said very few international players who have the complete solution. “Book-on-demand is one of the growing applications and we are looking at that,” he said, adding, “Digital is the future, as publishers have now started to realise that they used to waste in huge inventories, stocking & distribution costs besides throwing away and scrapping unsold books. There is no doubt that only those publishers are doing well who have adopted print-on-demand digital model, in which the book manufacturer prints and distributes a title when consumer purchases it.”
