PrintPack 2019: Grafica sells 22 newly launched Nano-Print machines

Commemorating its 30th anniversary, Mumbai-based screen printing specialists Grafica Flextronica launched its Nano-Print 1015 semi-automatic screen printing machine, and in the first two days of the exhibition, the company signed deals of 22 Nano-Print machines and six Nano-Print plus machines.

Bhargav Mistry, managing director of Grafica Flextronica, said, “This machine is aimed at all manual screen printers, especially the ones in India. When we studied the market, we understood that manual printers are not going for bigger or highly-automated machines, because when you print manual, you can print a big size compared to the automatic machines. So, for its replacement, we studied on the size and offered a size of 10x15-metres.”

According to Mistry, Grafica clocked a turnover of more than 1.5-crores, including its online and offline orders, during the trade show.

It was just three days since the Nano-Print 1015 was introduced on 31 January 2019, and it had already crossed 50 online orders. “We marketed the product well, which helped people to visit us with a mindset of booking, you know, we had already pre-planned some of the bookings,” Mistry added.

The machine comes along with various attachments that enable it to print on plastic royalty items, key-chains, lighters, diaries and books, among others. Both Nano-Print and Nano-Print plus have a single phase (plug and play).

Also, Grafica has tied up with various banks to make the machine affordable for the MSME segment. The banks provide an economical EMI scheme, to help printers facilitate the principal amount.

The machine comes with touchscreen controller, making it user-friendly. It has a self-diagnosing system to check for any sort of errors, for instance, to check if the input and output are working or not.

Grafica’s service team is in tandem with the price and quality of the machine, Mistry said, “We have a provision where printers can send screenshots so that we can provide offline or online assistance, even if there is a small problem.”
