PrintPack 2019: Gayathri Machineries announces Multigraf partnership

“After establishing ourselves in over 45 countries in Europe, Africa and Middle East, we thought India would be the ideal next step and we are happy to have found Gayathri Machineries, who are a thoroughly professional and enthusiastic organisation,” said Mathias Taraca, area sales manager, EMEA, Multigraf AG.

Talking about its offerings, Taraca said, “In our experience of 33 years, all our products are conceptualised, designed and manufactured in our base in Muri and adhere to the Swiss quality that is expected worldwide. I think the mantra for all our products is innovation, reliablity, precision and flexibility.”

The Multigraf range of equipment is said to be modular in nature with the possibility of adding a perforation, creasing or folding section as and when suited.

“Not only are these machines modular in nature, we have built them in a way where they can become inline with a number of digital presses that are available in the market,” explained Taraca.

At the stall, the company is demonstrating the Multigraf Touchline C375Plus digital creasing and perforating machine for the first time in India.

“The relationship with Multigraf began three years ago. We visited the factory in Switzerland and were floored by the due diligence on the shopfloor. This was followed by sending our team visiting the premise for training and then finally the formalisation of the partnership,” explained Uday Grover of Gayathri Machineries.

“For a product that comes with Swiss engineering and quality, it is fairly priced and we are confident it would be lapped up by our market,” he added.

The company is also displaying WireO binding machines from Cstek, Taiwan; an eyeletting kit from Hang, Germany; and paper drilling machines from Nagel, Germany.

Speaking about the response at PrintPack, Grover said, “The C375Plus has evoked great interest from the visitors who are awed by its quality and also impressed by the features.”

“We expect to sign at least a few deals in the coming weeks for the machine. I think every digital printer visiting the show should experience the capability of C375,” said Grover.

Besides C375, Grover is expecting at least 50 deals for the popular WireO machine and some more of the other equipment at offer.

“Exciting news awaits at Hunkeler Innovation days from us. We are going to launch a part of a new machine with focus on slitting and cutting,” concluded Taraca.
