PrintPack 2019: Gandhinagar’s Ramdoot invests in folder-gluer from Grafik

Pragnesh Patel, director, Ramdoot Packaging, said, “Being an existing user of Grafik Machinery International’s products, we have hands-on experience and confidence on the company, whether it is about the product or after-sale services.”

This is Ramdoot’s fourth folder-gluer. The company produces cartons especially for the pharma industry and with short run lengths. “Most of our run lengths are from 1,000 to 20,000 cartons per job. We produce jobs for around 18 clients in a day,” Patel said.

The company also produces packaging material for food, FMCG and cosmetics industries, in products ranges such as packaging boxes, labels, stickers and packaging literature.

The Grafik 65 folder-gluer from Grafik International Machinery can produce boxes of different sizes (130-650x30x90x150-550-mm) at the speed of 200-m/min. It can handle packaging board of up to 400-gsm for mono cartons and Eflute sheets for corrugated boxes. It is equipped with HHS nozzle-gluing system.

Patel added, “We are establishing a new print production unit which will begin operations in April 2019. The folder-gluer will be installed there.”

Kanishk Jain of Grafik Machinery International said repeat orders always boost confidence to do more in terms of new development and offerings. “Short-run is a demand of the market and we are ready to meet it,” he said.

The company installed 15 folder-gluers in 2018. Its total installation number is 25, within one-and-a-half-year, with customers based in cities like Kanpur, Ludhiana, Aurangabad, Indore and others.
