“We are very happy with the response we have received for the newly-launched four-clamp perfect binders and have several orders have also been received for the same,” said Mohamed Ismail K, managing director, Electro Mec Machinery.

The machine features a glue cut-off system, a moving nipping station and an auto feeder apart from a host other standard features.

“Apart from our recently launched rigid box machine, we have also introduced a twin purpose case/ rigid box maker here at PrintPack,” added Ismail.

The company, which is participating in their ninth edition of PrintPack, have registered more than 120 installations in 2018 with a 30% increase since the previous year. “We are positive of 2019 and think a 50% growth is something we should be able to achieve. Overall we want to establish ourselves as the preferred perfect binding partner and also create a space for ourselves in the rigid box sector,” said Ismail.

Talking about the state of finishing equipment marker in India, Ismail feels that there is an upturn in the fortune of Indian equipment manufacturers. He said, “Clients these days are not enamoured by second-hand imported equipment and prefer new machines from Indian manufacturers.”
