PrintPack 2019: Cosmic Print System offers Daihan Ink

Established in 1945, according to Ink World Magazine, Daihan Ink is one of the top 20 global printing ink manufacturers in the world. Cosmic Print System, established in 2017, is a sister concern of Krishna Trading Company. 

Yoginder Arora, general manager, sales & marketing, Cosmic Print System, said, “We are in the industry for more than two decades. We provide all kind of printing inks, including LED UV, UV and other conventional inks. Right now, we are selling around five tonnes of printing ink per month and within the next two months we will make the number double.”

Arora said the demand for LED UV printing ink is on the rise and the company is selling around 1,500-kg LED UV ink per month. Looking at the demand, Cosmic is establishing a LED UV printing inks matching centre in Gurugram which will be functional by the middle of this month. Currently, Cosmic is run by a five-member team all of whom are engineers.

Cosmic also offers different types of coatings and textures, including LED UV duct coating, coater coating, screen coating and LED UV textures.

On demand from customers, Arora said, commercial printers ask for high gloss resistance printing inks for different kinds of substrates. “And packaging customers ask for low tack printing inks so that production can be smooth,” he said.

He added that the company’s inks are FDA approved. It also has KS ISO 2846 certifications. The printing inks are RoHS-free and the company is a Sony Green Partner as well.

Arora, a graduate from Delhi University, concluded, “We are targeting to sell 250 tonnes of printing inks this year and to achieve the target, we are establishing a pan-India dealers network. Haridwar-based Patanjali Group, Jaipur-based Miracle Group, Daman-based Trim Pack, Manesar-based SGM are some of our premium customers.”
