PrintExpo and Media Expo tap print in South India

The co-located editions of PrintExpo Chennai and MediaExpo Chennai have concluded a successful run, attracting 16,089 visitors from across India and 22 countries. The event transformed Chennai into a hub for the printing, signage, and branding solutions industries, showcasing a commanding display from 185 exhibitors.

Exhibitors reported strong engagement and positive outcomes

The 15th edition of PrintExpo Chennai continued its legacy as a premier platform for commercial printing and packaging technology. Alongside it, the debut edition of Media Expo Chennai unveiled a range of digital signage systems, LED innovations, digital displays, materials, and fabrication tools. The strategic co-location offered attendees a comprehensive 360-degree industry experience.

Exhibitors reported strong engagement and positive outcomes. Arjun Khosla, associate director, head – production system group, Xerox India said, "We have been associated with PrintExpo since its inception. We have got an excellent response and visitors from different segments."

Minosha Print Solutions reported significant sales, with Prasanna Rajagopalan, head of sales in the production printing division, said, "PrintExpo has been one of the prominent expos where we always participate, and we have been tied up with the expo for a long time. Here we are getting visitors from the entire South Indian states. I could also see a lot of visitors from North India."

Dilip Hariramani, the owner of Simmac, highlighted the positive reception for their new roll-to-roll printing machine, designed for non-woven fabrics. P. Murlidhar Rao, business manager at Pinnacle Technologies, expressed satisfaction with the footfall and the specific inquiries received for their new DTF with gold foil, cutting, and creasing machines.

First-time participant in Media Expo, Sri Vignesh I, Director, Thandora (a unit of Chitra Graphics), found the event beneficial for reaching his target customers in South India, having already signed three to four dealers at the show.

Visitors like Uma Maheshwari, First-Employee at Heutetrend, said, "I felt like I was not in Chennai. It felt as if I was in Mumbai or New Delhi. The show was awesome as MediaExpo and PrintExpo both came together. We've got so much to learn." Likewise Vaidhya Nathan of Speed Xerox, a regular PrintExpo Chennai visitor, shared, "I am coming for this show every year and every time we are getting new technology and information from which we are upgrading and developing our business."

PrintExpo is jointly organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India and Showcase Trade Fairs and Business Media. MediaExpo Chennai is organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India.

The success of this co-located event underscores Chennai's growing importance as a key market for printing, signage, and branding solutions. The next edition of PrintExpo Chennai and MediaExpo Chennai is scheduled from 9 to 11 July 2026 at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
