Atul Thakker, managing director, Minosha India, said, “We are happy to share that our customer base is increasing and we are installing more machines month-on-month. We found that normal four-colour printing is no longer lucrative and profit margins are either stable or going down. So, we have decided to showcase to our customers the solutions to get out of the situation and make decent margins. This is the reason behind the CEC. The centre is full of possibilities and opportunities.”

Minosha India, the authorised Ricoh distributor, has been operational in India for over 27 years with a robust pan-India network of seven offices and over 300 business partners.

What sets Minosha apart is that it delivers a wide array of products and solutions and consistent service levels across the country. The company is known as a trusted provider of cutting-edge technology and services designed to meet the evolving needs of customers.

The brand tagline, connect. experience, is an extension of Ricoh’s imagine. change.

“At Minosha India, we see the success of partners as a critical factor in the company’s overall success. The belief is that by working closely with partners and ensuring their success, we can establish productive relationships that lead to collective growth and success. This approach reflects a mindset that prioritises collaboration, cooperation, and mutual support among partners. By recognising the interdependence between Minosha India and its partners, we create a culture of shared responsibility and accountability, ultimately leading to greater success for all parties involved,” he added.

The customer experience centre houses the Ricoh Pro C9500 and Ricoh Pro C7500 colour print production engines. Both machines were also unveiled for the global market on 1 November.

The new machines are the upgraded versions of Ricoh Pro C9200 and Ricoh Pro C7200 digital printing presses.

The upgraded versions provide an extended colour gamut of up to 11 colours (CMYK+7), higher printing speed with the addition of a small accessory, printing on bigger sheets and printing on the maximum number of available substrates in the market.

Dnyanesh Mahajan, national head, direct channel and national business head, production printing, Minosha India, said, “We welcome the digital printing industry to visit our CEC and see the possibilities of digital printing technology through Ricoh machines. It is free and we are open from 9 am to 6 pm. The only thing required is the artwork. We will provide everything else. Though we have an ample number of substrates, if anyone wants to bring their special substrates, we don’t have any issue. The new print production engines can print on substrates from 40- to more than 400-gsm. Both machines are suitable for commercial, packaging and label printers.”

There will be three people at the CEC to make the experience smooth – a pre-sales service manager, an after-sales service manager and a sales manager.

“We have plans to open more CEC in different parts of the country, based on the feedback from this centre,” Thakker said. “Right now, the CEC is capable of showcasing the printing quality only, but sooner we will be able to provide the entire solution from pre-press to the final product.”

He added, “We are hopeful that the CEC will be helpful to benefit the entire digital printing industry.”
