Mimaki launches CJV300 Plus print and cut kit

Mimaki introduced CJV300 Plus series print and cut inkjet printers aimed at the signage and graphics industry.

An upgraded version of Mimaki’s CJV300 series is offered in two variants – CJV 300-130 and 300-160 Plus. Daisuke Yamane, national sales manager, Mimaki India, said, “The machine is equipped with a new function named ID Cut that enables continuous cutting operations. This function scans the printed-out register marks and then reads and cuts data. With ID Cut, it is now possible to perform unmanned and continuous cutting operations with precision.”

The machine is equipped with two staggered piezo printheads. It offers a print resolution from 360 to 1,440dpi and has a maximum print and cut width of 1,361 mm, while, CJV300-160 Plus has a width of 1,610 mm. The company has installed close to 16 CJV 300 series machines in India. The CJV300 Plus printers come in eight-colour and four-colour variants and both are Greenguard Gold certified.

Mimaki promotes its environmental- friendly product developments under its Mimaki Green Technology concept. Yamane said, “CJV300 Plus series printers are equipped with environment-friendly solvent ink, and it also adopts the Mimaki eco-cartridge system that decreases the usage of plastic materials with boosted refilling operations.” 

Mimaki has close to 16 distributors in India, through which they installed more than 400 machines in India, since past four years. Yamane said that Mimaki notched up more than 100 installations in India in 2019.
