N Srinivasa Reddy, director-marketing, Megabound, said, “We are getting tremendous responses at the exhibition. We have booked 50 machines in the first three days of the exhibition. Our single deal contains around four machines.”

About the company’s success, Reddy said, “Mid and low-mid size printers are expanding and upgrading their businesses and we are their growth partner.”

Megabound’s new launches at the exhibition include five machines — fully automatic casemaker, twin case corner rounding, rigid box V grooving machine, automatic top gluing conveyer and wrapping machine and automatic book end pasting machine.

Ramesh Karuppathevar, director-technical, Megabound, said, “Printers’ expectations are very high from us towards new launches and we always try to fulfill those. This time, we have launched five new machines according to the market demand. In Europe, educational institutions are promoting round cornered books instead of sharp cornered books. We have developed twin case corner rounding machine for the requirement. Likewise in packaging segment we have launched full line of rigid box manufacturing machines including V grooving machine along with automatic top gluing conveyer and rigid box wrapping machine.”

“In the next edition of PrintPack India, you will see few new machines because we have been developing our machines according to the market development and entry of new segments,” he further said.

Megabound has 18 machines on display. “We have grown around 30% since PrintPack 2015 and have installed around 400 machines. Now, our total number of installed machines has crossed 5,000,” said Reddy.
