Labelexpo in Barcelona to unveil innovations in September
Labelexpo Europe 2025 is poised to be the largest edition to date, with exhibitors gearing up to showcase cutting-edge advancements in package printing technology. The highly anticipated event will debut at the Fira Gran Via exhibition centre in Barcelona, Spain, running from 16-19 September.

The change in venue for this year's show underscores the growth and significance of Labelexpo as the world's premier exhibition dedicated to label, flexible packaging, and folding carton print and converting technology. Attendees can expect a comprehensive display of the latest trends and solutions shaping the industry.
Among the launches and previews, several key players are set to make significant announcements. These are: Canon with a virtual display of its LabelStream LS2000, a water-based, five-colour inkjet digital label press. Also, they will debut the UVgel Factory for Labels and showcase their Edale CartonLine at stand 4E07.
Meanwhile, Epson will present the SurePress L-5034, a water-based digital label printing platform, along with other SurePress models at stand 3E35.
Likewise, Domino will introduce a new addition to its N-Series label press range, the Domino N410 LED label press, with daily demonstrations at booth 3E91. They will also officially release their new AI-enabled Sunrise digital front-end and workflow.
Software and hardware innovations from Esko will include cloud computing, AI, and SaaS technologies. On view will be the latest integrated workflow platforms, such as Esko WebCenter Pack and Print Clone, at ‘demo pods’ on booths 5D31 and 5E31.
GEW is launching OxyGuard, its next-generation oxygen control system designed to optimise UV curing environments. Their air-cooled AeroLED2 and water-cooled LeoLED2 curing systems will also be on display at stand 3G61.
Heidelberg and Gallus are joining forces to unveil two new machine technologies aimed at enabling label converters to scale efficiently and meet evolving market demands. They will be located on E323/E329.
Konica Minolta will offer a technology preview of an upcoming AccurioLabel product prototype at its stand 5E61/5G60, shared with MGI Digital Technology. Daily tours and demonstrations of current models will also be available.
